Religious Education

Religious Education is a subject which provides an insight into the various cultures and beliefs that exist in Britain today.

It is a subject which has great relevance in today’s pluralist society and enables all those who study it to appreciate and understand the diversity and importance of the religions that make up our community – learning about religion and from religion.

As such it forms an important part of the school curriculum.

The R.E. department is well established, innovative and vibrant. The department is staffed by three specialists

all are very enthusiastic and committed to the delivery and development of multi faith R.E.

The department has a wealth of

resources with a wide variety of religious artefacts, DVDs and ICT resources and text books that cover the world’s major six religions.
